Why Softener Start To be More Paintfull Smelly when cheap.?

Two yers ago i worked in very filthy area where everythink smell like anti-cockroach spray. I hate this smell - I had a ugly head pain and my tongue become numb. I probably have "obsession" for this particular kind of chemical which is included in anti-cockroach spray. I quit this job and everything came to normal.

MY DESPAIR PROBLEM now is that many of fabric softeners start smelling same way ! Specialy the chip one but also one with the bear on front . My wife says that she have no problem with this, but i have hedache when she using it for laundry, my neighbor "feel" it to, he says "its burning his sinus up". I already using softener for kids/babys and its okay, IM JUST AFRAID that other companies will start use same indegriends in detergents and softeners. And one more - when i use "bad" softener then i must wash clothes at list 3 times again in other detergents to get rid of this smell, its the strongest smell it last longer than "flower" smell in softener, its like fixing agent.

Sounds like you've developed a strong chemical sensitivity. I'm very sorry for all of your discomfort.

Since chemicals are going to strike you differently than the rest of us, the best thing for you to use to remove static from your clothes is one of those new dryer balls. They neutralize the ions in the dryer rather than coating the fibers. So there aren't any chemicals involved at all. They're also cheap as chips and last a long time. They're particularly recommended by allergists for people with a lot of sensitivities.
Reply:You need to add a cup of vinegar to the wash cycle, this will strip all the old softeners and scents out of your clothes. Rinse twice
