Can silk flowers be dyed?

I received some peach silk flowers, can they be dyed a deeper colour? What should I use, something cheap, preferably :)

Can silk flowers be dyed?
You can dye with disperse dye @ 60 C boilled water.
Reply:i think the silk will be too sensitive to the dye. try it on one flower; if it works then good for you.
Reply:I dont know much about flowers. I dont have a green thumb. In fact my silk flowers died.
Reply:It is probably possible but I would imagine it will be very expensive. You will be cheaper buying more flowers in the right colour.
Reply:I've never tried it...but I doubt it:( You could get some Rit dye (A couple bucks a bottle @ Wal-Mart and try it, but they are usually made out of a polyester type material that won't accept the color. Sorry:(

Good Luck if you try it though!!
