Ladies, question about getting flowers for my girl on Valentine's Day...?

My question is do I still need to buy her flowers if I already bought her a iPod and spent the time and energy to fill it up with her favorite music. It's not a cheap Nano either, it's the 30gb Video one. I don't really think spending $50+ (they jack up the prices for V-Day) is worth it. Also, let me mention that this is a long-distance relationship so unfortunately I won't be able to see her.

Screw the flowers, what I want is the expensive electronics - and I think she'd recognise which cost more, and what means more. You filled it with her favourite music too? That's time, and effort. If she doesn't appreciate that, you need to find yourself a new girl.





If you want to make it valentines day-ish, I'd put the iPod in a nice metallic pink box with tissue paper inside, and tie it up with red ribbon. Put a note in there as well!





I think it's a great gift as it is, and not all girls like flowers. You sound like a great boyfriend, and I hope she likes it. :)

Long distance relationship?? Doesnt matter...is your girl that high maintence and would throw that in your face?? If think yes, then get her the flowers too!
Reply:You don't have to, it is the thought that counts, but flowers on V-Day tend to give a girl that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
