Our house is surrounded by bushes, and we're done with them. What's the best, fastest, easiest, and cheapest way to get rid of those pesky bushes? How do we prepare the soil to plant flowers and stuff. We are very lazy. And cheap.
How do we rip up six holly bushes without any gardening equipment?
A chain and a pickup bumper...for the out. wrap the chain around the trunk of the bush several times then connect to the bumper and S-L-O-W-L-Y pull it out. Tie a rope around the chain about 2' from the bush and have someone hold this in case the chain pulls off the bush so it doesn't wack the back of the truck. They should be holding the rope off to the side at least 10' as the person is pulling the chain with the vehicle.

Reply:Maybe your neighbors would like to have the holly bushes and would be willing to dig them up for you.
If I lived near you I would. I like them they help feed the bird in the winter.

you could call a nursery that would accept them for digging them up.
When you say your have no equipment do you men no shovels?
Reply:get a chain or rope and tie it to the base of the bush and hook it to your vehicle and then just pull it out real cheap and easy
