I have two flower girls who will each be walking with a ring bearer. The flower girl s have princess dresses and tiarras. Shoulld I have the ring bearer's where crowns? My dress is white and only beaded at top. sleevless. detailed in the back on the train and flaired at the bottom. I thought of whering a cathedral veil or a tierra. Putting lots of jewelry on the girls and the colors will be baby blue and lavender or lilac.......any ideas...on how to do it and cheap...we have no very much money.
How to have a princess wedding ..cheap?
I'd skip the crowns, on both the boys and the girls - they are going to play with them and they'll be all askew by the time 5 minutes go by. If you want to get them some baby's breath for their hair that's one thing but I'd skip the tiara's. If you want a tiara, that's fine, but I'd skip the cathedral veil - it sounds like your dress is lovely in the back, so why hide it behind the veil. Putting lots of jewelry on the girls - what is this supposed to accomplish because I can't come up with any reasonable idea that would help in your dilemma.
Princess wedding ideas:
Have the bridesmaids wear some nice, tasteful rhinestone jewelry - not over the top, simple is better. You can even incorporate some hair jewelry - clips or pins.
If you want, have the florist add some crystals to the bouquets of all the girls, including yours.
Reply:Putting tiaras and lots of jewelry on the girls, and crowns on the boys would be unbelievably tacky, in my opinion....
Reply:I think putting king crowns on the boys would just be silly and sorry but I would instantly think of a Burger King birthday party.
As far as the little girls you shouldn't load them up with jewelry. For one thing they are kids and will likely tear them off, for another....they are kids and IMO would look very silly dripping with jewels.
Even adults who wear every piece of jewelry they own just look desperate to impress and overdone. Especially when they are are fake.
However it isn't my wedding and if you want that please, ignore me and do it. You asked what I thought and I told but that is in no way a rule. There are no rules when it comes to your dream wedding.
Opinions are like belly buttons, we all have them. Some are in, some are out, and there isn't anything that makes mine more special than yours.
Reply:I suggest skipping crowns on the boys, and tierras, and heavy jewelry on the girls. This is not a school production of Camelot.
