Where can I get a cheap Flower Girl dress from?

The wedding is in May and I'm looking for a Flower Girl dress. I got my other dresses from David's Bridal but I refuse to have to pay more than $100 for a childs dress, size 2T-3T, I think that is ridiculous, does anyone have any suggestions???? Or shoot....is anyone trying to sell theirs? Thanks

Where can I get a cheap Flower Girl dress from?

Reply:Try ebay. I did a quick look, here's the link, there's lots of adorable dresses, with buy it now prices under $50. http://clothing.listings.ebay.com/Girls-... depending on when in May your wedding is, you might be able to find one off a clearance rack AFTER Easter. Also try craigslist. I've never tried them, but have heard of people finding great stuff on craigslist, so it would be worth a shot.

By the way, YOU'RE not responsible for buying the flower girl's dress...her parents are.
Reply:My wedding is at the end of April (I got my dress from Davids too...) anyway I got my flower girls dress at Dillard's. My colors are green and this was a white "frilly" dress that had tiny green ribbon embroidery all over it. My 3 year old sister is the flower girl and she calls it her "princess dress". We got it on sale for about $28.
Reply:try Chadwick's. (www.chadwicks.com) they sell a lot of women's special occasion dresses at a great price. I've seen flower girl type dresses there also.

Do you know anyone who can make a dress? Then it could be really cheap....
Reply:Here in New England we have flea markets with dress shops for dresses and gowns cheaper than $100. I have one in my closet but it is size 8 sorry. I would get rid of it for $30. You can also go to a ware house outlet.
Reply:I have quite a few associates that I can purchase dresses from . . . what designer %26amp; style are you looking for?
Reply:Good will
Reply:check eBay.

have fun shopping!
Reply:Try bridal mart. They have alot of designers that make flower girl dresses to choose from and you may find something that you like.
Reply:Ebay, sometimes they are as cheap as $20 and you just have to get them cleaned. Heck, you might even find the exact one from david's bridal on there... that's how I got my tiara for 1/4 of the price!!!
Reply:We got our flower girl dresses at Wal mart (FOR REAL) we found them around Easter and they worked perfect. I bought my bridesmaid dresses at a boutique and the girls dresses looked like they were matched with my bridesmaids. Take your time and look and you will find the perfect dress.
Reply:You should try doing a search for baby or kid pagent dresses. My flower girl was only 2 yrs old and we found a great dress at a baby pagent website for only $25! Here's a couple links I found:

Good luck and congrats on the wedding. :)
Reply:I agree - I'm queen of "I'm not paying that for a little girl!" I found a lot of cheap options for my daughter. Most of them were at flowergirldressforless.com - they have a very sweet white dress for $29.00. It was hard to choose. Ultimately, I found a dress on sale at a department store and chose one (with bride's approval) that can be worn for other special occasions like Easter coming up. (PS first communion dresses won't fit your daughter that I've seen in the department stores- they are usually a larger size.)

Also, right now there are a lot of Easter dresses that may be suitable in the department stores. If you use any department store coupons, you can get away with cheap- well cheaper - as well.

And check out these sites: I found them by doing a search engine search with "discount flower girl" and various other descriptors.

And I've seen a lot of dresses in my local kids consignment shops. You can also, of course, try ebay or there is always Craig's List.

Good Luck!

(What color, style - spring or summer, etc. I might have a couple of dresses my daughter has outgrown that may be suitable- an organza dress and a 100% silk)
Reply:i bought mine on ebay from a store called butterflyxc. I found out this from my best friend who bought hers from there and they were really cute and cheap...mine was only $25.

Reply:Find a communion dress.
Reply:Try your local mall, JCPenny, or even specialty children's stores, consignment shops, etc.

I'm sure one of those places would have something appropriate.

Good luck.
Reply:I recommend waiting in the shrubs outside a wedding and stealing the dress from a flower girl. That costs nothing.
