Yes I want something for free for my party but only because I was told that I could get them for free. I was watching TLC or some show and they were making over this womens house for a party for cheap, and the host said she got the flowers that were places on around the room for free, and that you have to ask your local florist, does anyone know anything about that? do florist give away certain or unwanted flowers, what do I ask for? and how soon could I get them I dont care what kind just as long as they smell good.

I would go behind your neighbors houses and cut a few from each of them. They'll be none the wiser!

Reply:I knew someone who went to the cemetery and took some from the gravesites. But, I don't think you are THAT desperate for free flowers, are you?
I would think you could visit some of the local florists and just ask in a friendly, can-you-help-me- attitude if they ever have any 'left overs' that they would be willing to share...and tell them when your party will be. Doesn't cost to ask.
